Monotherapy with Darunavir is Where the "MONET" is

 According to the MONET study published last year by the manufacturer of Darunavir, Tibotec, a Darunavir-boosted monotherapy (Darunavir-ritonavir 800-100 mg once daily) produced similar outcomes to the standard triple drug regimen after 48 weeks in therapy. The viral loads from both groups were statistically equivalent (viral load suppression less than 50 copies/mL) suggesting that the boosted monotherapy is as clinically effective as the triple drug regimen...
